- Right click on the Start button which is located at the bottom left corner of your desktop and then choose Properties from the drop down menu.
- Pick the Start Menu tab from the dialog box. The different Start Menu options are now listed.
- Click on the Customize option in the dialog box. A new dialog box window opens up. Open the Advanced tab.
- From the list of options available, unmark the box next to the Help and Support label. This removes the icon from the Start menu.
- Click OK to close the window. Again click OK to close the Properties window.
